E-cigarettes: a harm-reduction strategy for socioeconomically disadvantaged smokers?

E cigarettes and vaping offer healthier alternatives to normal cigarettes but have disadvantages in LMIC and although often cheaper in the long-run, they require significant individual investment at commencement, placing them out of reach for most people even if they are available.
